What does Edmunds.com Say?

“With truly comfortable accommodations for six passengers, plenty of cargo space and refined driving dynamics, the Freestyle has everything going for it except power.”

The Pros and Cons from Edmunds.com

Pros
Truly roomy seating for six passengers, plenty of cargo space, balanced ride and handling characteristics, lengthy list of safety features.

Cons
So-so acceleration, some low-grade interior materials, no stability control or navigation system.

Safety

The Freestyle has not yet been crash tested. Four-wheel antilock disc brakes with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution are standard, as is traction control. Stability control is not available. The Freestyle offers the optional Safety Canopy™ System with class exclusive** rollover sensor. The Safety Canopy uses side-impact airbags that deploy from the headliner to provide side-impact and rollover protection for all three rows of outboard seat passengers.
