Pros and Cons:

Pros: The standard features for both models are 5-passenger seating and good fuel economy. Based on information provided the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) when the Toyota Echo was subjected to the Front Impact test and the Rollover Resistance test it scored 4 out of a possible 5.

Cons: The Echo is a fairly basic car and does not come standard with a variety of different features. Based on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration when the Toyota Echo was subjected to Side Impact tests it scored a 3 out of a possible 5 for front seat safety.

Safety:
Although the Toyota Echo is a pretty basic car it still comes with a variety of standard safety features. These features include: Driver and front passenger airbags, front and rear energy crumple zones and 3-point rear seatbelts in all positions with Automatic/Emergency Locking Retractors.
